Two months already!!

February 20, 2007

It has been a busy week!! Jack spent the night with Nana and Pop so that Jonathan and I could have Valentine's dinner. Jack had his first big shopping trip to Costco. Jack also had his pictures taken. He did great. We can't wait to get them. We've seen them on-line (you can too, at baughmanphotography.com in the newborn galleries) and I don't know how to choose which ones to buy. I guess we'll have to buy them all!! Jack didn't even mind being naked because it was so warm in the studio. The photographer loved taking pictures of him so she came over the next day and took more pics at our house and then posted them on her main web site. So, today Jack is 2 months, I love watching him grow. He smiles a lot now and almost laughed at Jonathan the other day. Oli is getting more protective. He likes to snuggle with Jack and curl up in his blankets. We also had to take Jack to his 2 month doctor's visit for shots. : ( He did pretty good. Sadly, I had to return to work. I cried of course. At least Jack gets to stay with Jonathan, since I work night shift. I think it's great bonding time for them, just the boys!

Still asleep?

February 10, 2007

Jonathan and I attended an engagement party in Fort Payne for some friends of ours, so here we go off to Grandma's. After a short visit at Nana's we took Jack to Grandma's and Grandpa's for date night. They were excited to see Jack and not too bothered that WE were only there for 5 minutes. Everyone said that would happen. When we went to pick Jack up, Grandma told me that Jack slept from 10:30 pm til 4:45 am. Are you serious??? He hasn't slept more than 4 hours at our house. I sure hope he starts to do that at home.
Oliver is becoming quite protective. He stays pretty close to Jack.

A Night Away

February 1, 2007

Nana and PawPaw came over to our house so that Jonathan and I could go to Nashville for the night. They had a fun time just hanging out at the house. It snowed while we were in Nashville so I was worried for a minute that we wouldn't be able to get back. I don't think I could take two nights away, one is hard enough. However, the roads were fine and we returned to Huntsville without any problems.

On Saturday Lindsay and Kayla came over to spend the night with us. They got some

quality time with Jack and got to hold him a lot. He, of course, just slept the whole time they held him. He loves to be snuggled up. He's changing sooo much. I can see a big difference in him everyday. It makes me sad because I know I will have to return to work soon. At least, I only work 3 days a week. The time has went by really fast.
